finally it is done, and the result is just in front of your eyes..... about the modules, most of them are old because the project was supposed to be finished long before christmas.... enough about that.... you can read all about the tunes in the songinfo somewhere on the screen......since this is noiseless' first real release, you may wonder who we are etc.etc.. ok, here it comes........first of all, noiseless consists only of a few musicians, but the opportunity to join us is there ...if you are a good musician and can provide your own instruments, don't hesitate to contact us...... our address is in another scroller (f5)....i am very tired at the moment... right now i'm sitting in a big hall called 'skedsmohallen', and i haven't slept more than 3 hours during the last night....the noise is everywhere...one guy plays a game, another guy plays another game so that your ears are being attacked with soundeffects 24 hours a day, and the crusaders are playing their terrible techno(muzak???). techno appeals to some people because of its primitivity. it is true that in the old, old times, people weren't afraid to die. so that is the cause of the death-wish in people who are forced to listen to techno. techno = noise without prelude ... an interesting theory states that the reason acid only appeals to lowlife submoronic mudcrawling scum, is that the law of gravity forces crap down to a lower level. acid-lovers often have thick skulls, and this causes them to fall down even faster, since the air-resistance is lessened. some say that acid is deconstructed music. this is wrong. techno is *decomposed* music!!! .ok....finally a lot of greetings to other musicians.......martin wall (mantronix) - keep up the good work...greg/alcatraz - are you finished with your projects for that game you were talking about??? nice tunes on odyssey...mel'o'dee/shining - thank you for sending the cd's, and keep me informed about new ones, ok? (got any cc's? no? f10!) - honkydory (-got any cc's? -what are cc's????) - shorty (thanks for being away when i wrote the secret scroll, haha!) - bug (ditto!!!) - shlong of the mental cases (i love you too) - jawbreaker and lord mindless of offence crusaders and dad-line (great party so far... just playing toooooo much acid pump-up-your-mom, everybody dance now, etc.) and now, an especially extensive greet to all members of *the silents* worldwide! ok, if i forgot anyone, i can blame it on my current state of mental deterioration, caused by lack of sleep (and the presence of the certain others when i was awake...) and if my normally biting, brilliant prose seems a bit blunt today, it is for the same reason. of course, the pinball players and the acid-lovers also must take some of the blame... and now... ....the clock is 03:42 and i am sitting here eating crackers for breakfast. many people are sitting in the room. the music is very loud. some people are drinking but nobody has puked on my keyboard yet. (party report, german-disk-mag-style, only thankfully shortened) humm... i would like to dedicate some bytes to the inevitable process of psyche-rot, or mental deterioration as i called it... if you don't understand what i am talking about, you might already be a victim!!! please see your local brain surgeon immediately, you might need a brain transfusion! make sure the donor has the correct braincell-type, though, or your body might reject them. viscosity plays a large part, as does inertia and level of brittleness. beware that viscosity is neither too high or too low, your brain might gradually seep outwards to your ears and vaporize into the air. or it will flow so slowly you could take years to complete a simple thought. anyway, fight psyche-rot wherever you find it, on the beaches, in the streets, on the stairs, in the kitchen etc. and remember that next time it might be ***you*** well, let that be a warning to all of you. argh, childish nonsense this, yet it seems like a retired couple reminiscing about youth in comparison to some of the things a poor scroll-reader is forced to read through these days. i mean, most scrolls nowadays are just variations on the theme of 'the clock is now.... we are sitting here at xxx's place eating pizza.' argh! there was a time when writing scrolls was an art... but now everything seems in the hands of dilettantes (and worse!) a great greet to swedish elric... you seem to have the right idea about scrollwriting! hope you like this one. *********vblank interrupt (move.l $6c.w,a0 jmp (a0) rte) i just have to tell you some *very* important news: the clock is now 04:12 and we are sitting here drinking coca cola. end of interrupt. (that was sarcasm in case you wondered) okay, let me just tell you all that i am sooooo glad to be out of razor 1911. once upon a time razor was a great group, but now it has deteriorated beyond recognition. the organizers have gone to the pc, old and once-famous members have become inactive, and we're stuck with a bunch of greenpeas who only care about h0t stuff and getting a free fone call to brazil. argh! ok, i don't blame them for being lame or anything, i just mean their interests are so far from mine that there's no point in my staying in razor. so when i got the offer to join silents, i just took 5 minutes to make up my mind. ok, now a little *party report*!!! shorty is now totally *bombed*! he has drunk 2 beers and is now almost crawling around on all fours... he just kissed a very sexy girl from behind, and she slapped him... hohoho! okay, enuff bull. i'm signing off! -nsf *f4* call our boards for the fastest amiga/pc/console warez! prime time (whq) 513-861-7170... angel dust (ehq) +46-31-309054... house of lust (dk-hq) +45-97-513773... celtic path (ghq) +49-201-557688... chaos (dhq) +31-46-339611... and soon to come more fast tsl boards... never forget: the silents - more than words can say! *f5* if you by any means want to contact noiseless for professional music (both sample-based and synthetic) or joining, write to the following address: noiseless productions, attn. jogeir liljedahl box 8260 spjelkavik 6022 aalesund norway.... *f6* hello, shorty here... as you might have noticed, i'm only part of one tune (overture), and thats nothing much to brag about, is it? check it out! I'll try to make some more for the next musicdisk! if you for any reason would like to contact me, write to... olav-r. vorren (shorty) - nedre-holen 23 - 6011 aalesund - norway... or dial: +47 71 43338.. . i dont send regards in this scroll, as jogeir and i have most our friends in common. ok? it have been pretty nice here at the party, but it lasted too looong!!! out of money after three days!!! i have been pretty lazy with my music lately, and the reason for this is that i have tried to learn assembler-language... the result is not very impressing, but... i coded the "stretching" noiseless logo (in the loader), and the tune-loader screen (the one with those bouncing squares)... from now on i'll put my energy in my music!!! pretty boring, everybody wants their part of this musicdisk, and there's nothing left for me... ok, i won't kill you with my crap, so i'll leave you right where i left you: with nothing!!! *f7* hmm! cool as always, silents managed (by a miracle?) to win the "football"compo, with lotsa assistance from moxy/cytax, fairfax/pmc, yngve(!), to mention some.. anyway, as you may have noticed, tsl (the norwegians) have got some new members, mainly at the dln/crs-party. we're now really a "full-worthy" division, which we were not before, due to lack of coders.... anyway, if you do not like the music on this disk, fuck you! it's fuckin' great!! concerning the gfx, i can tell that the noiseless-logo was made after having drawn constantly for 25 hrs.. (the inspiration came from the most messy party hall i've ever been into, and an unknown number of pizzas.. but what the hell, who cares anyway? if you're interested in trading old furniture, just dial + 4 7 4 5 2 0 7 6 8 . . .ask for tore.. now rob/tsl wanna write down some lines, here he comes.....hello everyone this my first scroller for tsl so dont be disappointed.. some very personal greetings coming animal/tsl...thanx for making tsl the coolest crew ever... jbm/fairlight...hope to see you soon pal...waremonger/quartex...keep your board running cool...jawbreaker/offence...it was nice to meet you at this party, nerd (he,he)...and of course a big hello to all tsl members worldwide.. thanx to the guys that supported us in the football compo ok, i am outta here (syre rules)... ok i (tmbd) is back, just to send out some hardy handshakes to some of my friends: performer and ronan/A, audiomonster/tsl, color/pha, bustman/crs, rancor/(no group right now), blablablabla, bla bla..and everyone i do not remember.... have a good time and enjoy these fab modules!!! *f8* the bodylords!!! peerless in flesh! yeah!!! we just kicked the shit out of the bone breaker-brigade and deadline, and they look just the same! strange those guys!? changed the score in the break, but great as we are (in flesh!) we suppressed their resistance... fuck off, the bodylords rules!!!!!! here's a list of our soccer team: alf - jogeir - bug - nosferatu - doggi - shorty - rob - - face the facts - lynx - and thats about it... unfortunately we lost in the semifinals to paragon (don't they make printer paper???) anyway, we will be back... but... who won?????? *** the silents *** !!!!! we rule! heilvending right here... *f9* there seems to have been some misunderstanding concerning noiseless, so we will inform you as concisely as possible. noiseless is a pure music-group (like maniacs of noise), and we have long experience in composing music, both on the c64 and amiga. we hope this will clarify our purposes... *f10* yo this is bug doing a scroller on this party called the gathering 92. nossie is giving me a hard time putting stickers in my hair while i'm trying to type this scrolltext... soon i will open a new silents board here in norway supporting amiga and console warez... i just got my super magic drive one week ago and i really love all those cool sega megadrive/genesis games... the board will hopefully be up this summer, i just have to earn sum more money for a larger harddrive. i have been co-sysop on the razor 1911 ehq for some time now, and red baron wants me to run his board when he is moving to brazil. but as things look now, razor is vulture meat in the very near future... no coders, no graphicians, no musicians left in razor, only traders. i have several interests in the amiga scene, not just modemtrading. thats why i left razor. enough serious stuff, now i will tell you about this party. all the lamers here are playing pinball dreams (just another great tsl product) and techno muzak. hey mantronix, you are right: techno really sux!!! the contraception is near. (hey nsf, what the fuck does that mean?) translucence as a matter of fact, is the reason for the lameness of this party. (another techno-word from the nsf-library)... well guys, a few greets from your best uploader to: red baron - hope you understand our point of view... the bodylords - we will be number one (some day)... all the nsl/tsl/rzr dudes here at the party - are we having a good time or what? ... acme and loverman of razor usa: card me a larger hd, now... the half decent musicians around here: korg eide, mantronix and tip, the decibel desperados... never forget: tim follin rules!!! ziphoid & zike: in medias res was cool reading! oh well, that was a few greets. now enjoy the great music on this disk! it's noiseless...first of all, this tune is converted from the c64, (johannes bjerregaard), there are not many tunes on the c64 with this kind of quality, that's for sure!!! i guess this is one of the best tunes i've ever heard on the c64, and the reason why i converted this tune, was because of the originality and the practicability, and also because i think that the music level on the amiga needs more original music, no offence, but there is just too much garbage-music on the amiga...to all of you techno, house, acid-musicians out there: no future at all, there is no hope!!! anyway...this tune was finished in november/december..... enjoy this piece!!! mystified...this is my latest tune....and it's a kind of mysterious, consisting of a "cut up" sampled rhythm, instruments from korg wavestation....it was finished in january/february......the tune was meant to be finished at the aars party, but since i sold my amiga in november, i didn't have the chance to finish the tune until now on this party in lillestrom... slow motion is the second oldest module on this precious music-disk... i started with this tune in september, and the instruments are sampled on the wavestation.... i guess i can say that almost all of the instruments are from the wavestation, so i would not have to bother writing about that in all of the other modules........ well, back to this tune, it starts with a calmly rhythm and soon to appear, a really originally lead. after a couple of minutes some real terror appears!!. (just the kind of mood nossie likes) after the terror part, the mood turns into a "classical" piece, (like a music-track to an adventure-movie etc...) where i have used a psiano with a background-string .....and finally the end part appears. the drums are back with a "hard" bass and a melody containing some echo which makes the tune more airy......enjoy it!!! you pressed the happy hour songinfo, and once again a c64 convertion (laxity), this is another original tune, about the same as i told you in the first info (it's noiseless)...i made it in november, if i'm not too wrong....samples are from the wa...i've told you that!!!! living in a dream...this tune is the oldest tune on this music-disk..... i guess you deserve an applause of finding the oldest module....clap! clap! clap!!! the tune consists of five parts, all in a "middle-fast" tempo, with instruments from "what you know" and from the roland d-50.... i do not expect you to enjoy this tune, but at least listen to it!?!! overture...this kind of music i encourage all of you musicians to make...this kind of style is too rare on the amiga, in fact on about all kind of computers....this tune was started by olav r. vorren (shorty) and myself (jogeir) finished it....the tune starts with some strings and a nice basswave, all of this fades when the main-theme appears including echo to make it sound more "realistic".......listen to this tune through-out... sit back, relax and enjoy....... led storm...what is there to say??? this tune is truly dedicated to the "boss" making "adventure-music" .....*tim follin*...... the music from ghouls & ghosts, led storm, secret agent, bionic commando etc. are superb!!! anyway, the module is only 79kb long, and contains samples instead of follin's 'synthetic vibes'. it does not sound as good as the original tune, but...enjoy this masterpiece...
