name: footsteps author: Gordon Munro size: 937 bytes needs: RISC running computer descr.: Game like guess the number, but harder This helpfile was awful previously, so I decided to change it and make it less awful. I also tried to make the computer player more difficult to beat. The Rules ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬ The idea of the game it to get the red triangle to the notch nearest the word Human, while the computer player is trying to get the triangle to the point nearest the word Computer. Each player has a number of tokens (50 at the start) which they can bet a number of. If they bet higher than the other player, the red triangle moves one notch to their target. Unfortunately you only have a finite number of tokens at the start of each game, so the number from which you can bet gets lower each turn. For example, if you bet with your first bet 25 out of 50 tokens, then you will only have a maximum of 25 tokens to bet with next turn.
