Yesterday the fourth issue of CORRUPT was released, and among the usual array of spelling mistakes and typos, there was one part- icular mistake that upset many people. Here is the entry in the news section: .... "First ofreeze got kicked off SIMPLE PLEASURES (High Society and Quasar site) and thus Menace lost the FTP as a dist-site." ... This would have been a perfectly fine news post, had it actually been true. I wrote this with the intention of being informative and in no way meant to lie or insult anyone. Here is what happend: SP.NFO used to list Menace as one of it's affils, although why this is I don't understand. Everyone seems to agree that SP was never a MNC site. At this time ofreeze was a huge supporter of the site and would constantly upload the latest Gameboy Color and Nintendo 64 rls. ofreeze was also a co-siteop. Then, several things happend at about the same time. MNC was taken out of the NFO, ofreeze lost his op status, and after that ofreeze never connected again. Without doing the research to find out what really happend, I made the mistake of putting the pieces together and assuming this meant ofreeze and MNC were kicked off SP. This is however not correct at all, and it is completely my fault for writing the incorrect news. I deeply regret making this mistake and apologize to Menace, especially ofreeze, and all the users of SP, especially unit. I hope this clears everything up and there's no more hard feelings.
